Copper Mountain homes
Copper Mountain has primarily had condominiums in the past, with few single family homes. That is changing, with new luxury homes being built at Lewis Ranch. It is a gated community with both duplexes and single family homes, but all have wonderful locations. The single family homes are ski in and out homes for the most part, with some of them just requiring a walk across the street.
At the east end of Copper Mountain is the only other area with self contained homes; The Masters. It is between the Super Bee and the Alpine lift. Right now the Alpine lift is an old, slow, two person chair, but there is talk of upgrading it one day. The Super Bee is the six person chair that takes you right to the top of the mountain. The recent approval of plans for more residences to be built at Copper Mountain will probably mean more single family homes in the area closer to the Alpine lift one of these days, together with a hotel and more condos and duplexes.
