Copper Mountain townhomes
Townhomes at Copper Mountain are actually condominiums as far as their legal structure goes, but only share walls with other units at the sides and do not have other condos above or below, as a regular condominium might. They are usually two or three floors high. The condominium reference means that the building itself is owned by the Homeowner’s association, not by the townhome owner, unlike the way a duplex might be owned. The HOA is also responsible for the exterior maintenance and upkeep.
The first townhomes you see as you enter Copper Mountain are on the left as you drive in. The Woods at Copper Mountain are primarily 3 bedroom townhomes backing the ponds or the golf course. If you want a four bedroom townhome, you would want to look at The Legends at Copper. They are very similar to The Woods, but have larger floorplans. They are surrounded by the golf course.
Togowotee Townhomes are just past the East Village but before the Center Village, also on the left. The newest townhomes at Copper are just west of the Center Village, and are called Union Creek Townhomes. They were built in two phases, with the most recent phase finished in 2007-2008. Next to Telemark Lodge is Beeler Place townhomes, which are very large townhome style units. Keep heading west past Union Creek, and new, luxury Duplex units are being built in Lewis Ranch. They have a great location on the ski run with access from the Lumberjack lift.
More duplexes are scheduled to be built along the golf course in the future, but the actual date is uncertain at this point.
