<description>Joanne was our fearless leader on this beautiful day and wonderful hike. It was hot and I appreciated the breeze when it came up and the shade. The mosquitoes, however, found some of us in the shady areas. Ruth was a walking book of knowledge on the wildflowers and Mahea took some awesome digital pictures of the flowers and landscape. I’ve already framed a few; they hang in my living room… they are beautiful.

If you want any, Mahea’s thinking about starting a photo business! Eileen was my advisor on hiking shoes and her new pair needed no breaking in. Chloe, Mahea’s dog, loved to wade in the river and it seemed to revive her every time!
