My vote for favorite restaurant in Frisco would be Food Hedz, located in the strip mall between Wal-Mart and Safeway. The overhead sign just says ‘Cafe’. My understanding is a chef from Keystone Ranch, one of the top restaurants in Summit County, decided he wanted to serve the locals. It is open for lunch and dinner and although the atmosphere may not be the best, the food is outstanding and priced well. I am most familiar with the lunch menu, which alters each season, but typically has 8-10 items ranging from an Asian dish to elk stroganoff, along with 3 daily soups, a couple of specials, and bread that always puts a smile on my face. My mother and I still talk about the flourless chocolate cake they had for dessert this spring.

Pssss . .. it's actually Silverheels at the Orehouse, not the Orehouse at Silverheels. This might seem like a minor difference to some, but I'm sure Bobby the owner would appreciate it!
