More Space for your Frisco condo
Murphy beds are finally being sold in Frisco! As I was driving around the other day, running errands and picking up lunch, I drove by a new sign on Ten Mile Drive in Frisco (behind 7-11). The sign was a big red banner that said “Murphy Beds, Custom Closets”. I did a quick turn around and ran through the rain into the store to find out more.
The name of the store is “More Space Place” and it is owned by locals Tony and Kelli Pestello. They have been in business in Summit County for almost a year now, but just opened their showroom about three weeks ago.
They have wonderful displays set up with all the different types of Murphy beds, from twin to king sizes. They also have home offices, custom closets and media centers. This store is going to be a wonderful resource for people who need more space. And who doesn’t? I find that Summit County homes seem to have less storage than most. Many were designed as second homes, with the assumption that a second home owner won’t need as much storage. Wrong! If you need a pantry, garage storage, laundry room space or just space saving furniture in general, you need to stop in their store. It is easy to find, and I copied the map off their website http://www.morespaceplaceco.com/ to make it easier still.
In case you are not sure what a murphy bed is, I wrote a post about it a little while ago. I think they are a much better alternative than a hideabed, as they are a lot more comforable. In my last murphy bed post, I mention a place in Denver to buy them, but now you don’t even need to leave town! I think this store is going to be a real plus for Summit County homeowners, and I am sure than Tony and Kelli will do really well here.

Now that my children, save one, have flown the nest, I have thought of adding a Murphy bed in my office area or the bonus room. It seems a better choice when conserving space.

Mana, It is really nice to have a store like this nearby. In the past we had to go to Denver for custom closets and murphy beds.
Paula, a murphy bed is much more comfortable than a hideabed too! No bars and springs poking into your back. That would be my prime reason for getting one. The space savings is a bonus.
