I have seen property managers in Summit County fit all three of these categories!
If you have a second home here and want to rent it when you are not using it, you either hire a management company to do it for you, or you put it on www.vrbo.com and handle it yourself. Many people, because of time and/or distance, prefer to use a Property Management company who books it, cleans it and mails you the check each month. Your goal is to find a company that fits into the “good” category.
The fees they charge vary widely, from about 25% of gross revenue to 50%. Most companies have fees in addition to the share they take, and they can add up to as much as another 7%. Be sure you ask about those fees.
