HGTV is looking for recently renovated Mountain Great Rooms Home & Garden Television’s (HGTV) BANG FOR YOUR BUCK is looking for fun and enthusiastic homeowners in the greater Summit County area RIGHT NOW! Renovations must have taken place within the past three years on a budget ranging from $30K-$120K.
Each episode will tour three remodels at similar price points in the same city. We’ll bring in our design expert and real estate expert to determine how the renovation impacts each home’s value. I have an unrelated question…As prices have dropped have you also seen HOA fees reduced?
Sorry for the delay! I just found your comment! The HOA fees are based on anticipated costs to repair and replace items, as well as costs for things like water and sewer, cable tv, snowplowing, etc. Taxes are based on value but they are about 2 years behind, so won’t lower until the next evaluation period, in another year or so. The valuations should lower at that time, but whether the mill levy will lower or not is another question.
