Peak leaf peeping time in Summit County, Colorado

This is the week!  The leaves have been fabulous all week and Friday morning we woke up to snow on the peaks.  The wind didn’t knock as many leaves off as we thought it would, and it was particularly pretty with shafts of light shining  through the low hanging clouds.  What is surprising is how many leaves are still green, so perhaps the color will last a little longer than usual as the green trees continue to turn.
